Shakeeb Abu Hamdan
Shakeeb Abu Hamdan is an artist, musician and recording/sound engineer living in Beirut, Lebanon. His visual practise consists of systems of drawings found illustrations and texts that relate to the construction of historical narrative. His work occupies a space somewhere between contemporary art and experimental comics and takes the form of publications and print/drawing installations. His sound-based work spans performance (mainly drums, percussion and electronics), experimental composition and sound for film.
