There is No Sea in Beirut
Public Art Commissions
23 May 2015
Beirut, Lebanon
In the framework of the three-day symposium organized by the French Institute, the Orient Institute and the Beirut Municipality on public spaces, TAP commissioned Rani Al-Rajji for a performative city walk that took place on May 23, 2015 (made possible with the support of the French Institute).
There is no sea in Beirut tells stories of a city, a harbor, a shoreline and a public space in search for an identity in constant escape.
