In a spark (2015)
Alia Noueihed Nohra
“If art circulation was not possible and artworks were to be kept unseen, they will forever hihde in a secret world unless someone reveals them. This parallel world is that of lost art, it is a place where concealed artworks unite (or merge, fraternize, sympathize) and reveal themselves to each other. This series of works on paper is about women friends, who – similar to veiled artworks – in a spark, come into communion, where they are manifest and outspoken.
