Perspicere
Hatem Imam
Perspicere is a mobile sculpture designed to accompany patients during recovery in same-day surgery suites. Hatem Imam creates a visual illusion that embodies waiting time. The concave plexiglass structure, engraved with natural landscapes, is mounted on a metal base and illuminated by an embedded LED light. Positioned near the patient’s bed, the sculpture offers a sense of embrace, guiding them into imagined landscapes beyond the confines of the recovery suite.
