Skin niks Skindromes
Yasmine Hage
A skindrome is a palindrome without symmetry that performs back and forwards on a surface as a three dimensional physical space. Skin niks sets out to write a minimal four-word poem on two car windows facing each other. The sitters and the lookers find different texts in the words’ split, a symptom lost in contact with the environment. Glass is a see through membrane, at once a reflection and a stance from which ones see: a portrait of words “facified”. (Deleuze)
