What happens
Karine Debouzie
Through the use of anthropomorphic elements, Debouzie creates autonomous units that structure and marry the space. Adopting material that is reappropriated often leads to further examination due to error or accidents. This method of discovery and experimentation leads the artists to a new understanding of form and its transformation. Subverting the material reveals the poetic value of the banal.
