This 20-minute video shows the restoration of Le Tourbillon (1995), an installation by artist Mario Saba, located on the Mina’s corniche in Tripoli. Through the voice of one of Mario’s friends echoing in the background, Firas represents Mario Saba’s history that embodies the situation of many Tripolitan artists’. The video relates the city’s suspended state and consequently the condition of the city’s trapped residents
