Elie Abousamra
The artist’s conception of numbers has always occupied his mind from a negative perspective. The idea of writing numbers close together on the surface of the wall is both in protest and tribute to the people that fell during the war in small and large numbers. Elie Abousamra left an empty space on the ceiling for the numbers that will fall in the future.
