The Invisible Soundtrack
Nadim Mishlawi
To assist in the efforts of protecting the Dalieh, Mishlawi explores the sounds of the area’s unseen landscape: the subterranean surfaces, the underwater ranges, and the hidden voids, cracks, and cavities created by the area’s natural topography. The recordings are meant to complement whatever research has been, or will be, executed concerning the area’s natural (and possibly unnatural) environment, be it marine life research, botanical research, or geological research.
