Land Mines and Scientists
Elmas Deniz
For this installation, the artist used drawings which they copied from an encyclopedia, showing scientific research and some inventions. Deniz then made black and white digital prints from copies of these drawings and also very clean white landmine boxes in a way to remind the viewer that mines are a product made and designed by scientists. Apart from this installation, the artist also made bomb-like cardboard models that were installed in ruins.
