TAP's Database of Public Art Practices in Lebanon
Our Database of Public Art Practices is an on-going research project archiving public art interventions that have taken place in Lebanon from 1980 to present day.
Next to Beirut’s RiverLESS forest, on the side of the highroad, two solitary billboards stand. In this intervention Omar Fakhoury & Christian Zahr are flipping the vertical surface of the billboards to convert it to a terrace, a place of gathering and reunion overlooking the forest.
