Chaouki Choukini
Choukini works with wood and stone to create his sculptures. He manipulates solid and hollow spaces with a studied cadence to create an impression of weightlessness. Choukini’s sculptures appear to be gurines of a statuesque posture, yet they flirt with the post-modern sculpture movement. The artist’s madness for light makes of him a unique sculptor of the 21st Century.
